I am tired of all the hype that surrounds the straight line compensation plan…

I don’t believe it is a good plan at least not all on its own.. It really depends on the rest of the bonus structure.

Straight line is really just a re-branding of corporate bonus pools. Don’t be fooled into thinking it is so great and that you will actually benefit form all those that join after you. It is simply a ploy to invoke a fear of loss.

Network Marketing used to be so easy in some ways  before the internet came along….

Back in the day, when it all started, all you had for marketing methods and tools for building your business were business cards, flyers, home meetings and of course the king of kings, the Telephone.

These tools were effective… In fact they are still effective today….. No, I am certainly not advising that you go back to utilizing these some what ‘Cave Man-istic’  techniques however building a business back then was much easier in one particular area and that area is FOCUS!

With the introduction and total embrace of the internet,  technology has taken over and all though this is a good thing for the most part, it can lead to Analysis Paralysis….. or simply ‘Information Overload’ which really leads to lack-of-focus-itis.

It is now infinitely harder to keep the attention of your audience and even more importantly the focus of your new business  partners. With one touch of a button we have access to every network marketing company or competing home business opportunity in the world. It would take a life time just to read about them all, let alone decide which one is the right fit for you… it’s utterly exhausting.

And to top it off there are new “Once in a Lifetime Opportunities”  popping up every single day. We are constantly being bombarded…. I mean how is one to stay focused?

If that wasn’t enough of a problem when it comes to building your business, once again the people that join you and become your new business associates have, at the press of a button, access to every single tool, system, automated breakthrough etc. etc. etc. known to man, and of course each one is competing for the attention of your poor new associate who really don’t know where to turn.  More often then not this causes paralysis… “Which system is best” “Which technique should i use” “Where should I start” etc…

Once again you could spend a lifetime learning and trying each and every new tool and strategy that comes along and never ever have time to take action…. and we all now that Concentrated & Focused Action is what  produces results.

So what is a Business Builder to do?

Thats where your Leadership comes in and is absolutely crucial for the success of your organization.

you, as a leader, absolutely must break it down for your new business partners and show them exactly what to do next… I certainly don’t mean “Do It” for them but for heavens sake do not leave them to figure out the next step on their own…..

Lay it out for them on a website… an autoresponder series…. a document… something tangible that will give focused direction.

Show them Exactly what to do, what the next step is and lead them down a road map with nothing left to question. you must help them to hone their focus keep them moving forward and help them see results quickly..or there gone….. off to the next opportunity… off to the next leader that has a little more direction in their business plan.

Now, I am not suggesting that you can stop everyone from wafering and chasing the next best thing but you can help them to see what it is that they ARE doing and offer direction and simple steps that will allow them to see the results that they are after. This will ultimately create loyalty to you.

So…. have a plan in place, a system, a strategy that your new team members can tap into. Make sure it is effective and focused and easily followed. Of course, we all know that  some will follow and some wont but don’t lose potentially great people because they really don’t know what to do next. Giving a little direction can go a long way in captivating the attention of your partners

Success in this industry needs incredible focus…. focus on one company….. focus on one marketing area at least in the beginning. A system or strategy that works and can be duplicated en masse by your growing organization. The shot gun approach does not work here and has no place because what generally happens is the new recruit is spread to thin… trying to tap into all the different areas and thereby not being effective enough in any.

I am all for dropping more ‘fishing lines’ in the water but not until mastery is achieved one pole at a time.

So.. in closing focus on 1 – 3 techniques maximum, master them, see results with them and manage them before trying to add another lead generating or business building strategy to the mix.

Article Marketing MLM is all about implementing a brilliant and sure fire traffic method to greatly increase you lead generation, social influence and visibility online. The underlying concept that should over rule all else is: Always provide Value! If you remember this one simple statement in all of your content creation you will see significant success with Article Marketing in MLM.

Here is a 7 step Blueprint guaranteed to generate leads and cashflow with Article Marketing MLM. Follow these steps exactly and you will spread your valuable content all over the web and interested and eager prospects will be thankful they found you.

1. Decide on your Keyword – Article Marketing in MLM requires carefully selected keywords. You will find yourself primarily going after what are called Long Tail Keywords which simply mean a longer variation of a popular keyword, generally 3+ words in length. Keyword research does not have to be a huge arduous task however. You can use Google’s free services to locate a keyword that is relevant to your audience has a good amount of traffic and not a lot of competition. This is what I like to call the “Sweet Spot” and will maximize the reach you can achieve.
2. Create a Killer Headline – After you have picked an appropriate keyword your headline is the part that you should spend the most time on. If you don’t invoke curiosity or poke an emotional cord in your potential reader they will NEVER click on your headline to see the rest of the article.
3. Create your Content - this is, of course, the main body of the article. always write your article as if you are having a conversation, you don’t have to worry about being an English Major or have perfect pros. Just write from the heart and as if your are speaking to a good friend. You can keep your article short infact 450 – 550 words is a really good length to shoot for. You will lose many potential readers if they happen across your article and realize it’s 3 pages long. Short and to the point wins the day. ( I shoot for 500 because some directories have a 500 word minimum.
4. Build a Killer Resource Box – the resource box is where you get to share your links and outside of the headline is the most important part of the process. Don’t skimp out here. What i like to do is act as if the resource box is a continuation of the actual article. I include 2 links, 1 to add link juice to the original article and the second to my lead capture page which is where the focus of the resource box will be. (That’s the click I want)
5. Post your Article – Post your article first in the place you would like to see on the first page of the search engines. I usually use my blog for this but sometimes I will use a specific article directory if I think it will have a better chance of getting to Google’s coveted page one.
6. Bookmark your Article with Onlywire – Onlywire is a social bookmarking service and I find if i submit my main or original article here immediately the search engines will pick it up and index it very quickly. Once the main article is indexed you can move on to turbo charge your results.
7. Spin and Mass Submit your Article – Here is where the rubber hits the road with Article Marketing MLM. Once you have created your original article it’s now time to syndicate your content all over the internet. A great way to do this is with an article submission tool. The one i use exclusively is called Automatic Article Submitter. Sometimes the ‘Internal Traffic’ from  these directories can be quite significant not too mention all the traffic that comes from your article being republished. But the main purpose here is to build links that will lead back to your original article thus propelling it up the search engine rankings.

8. **Record a Video about your new article – (Advanced Article Marketing MLM) This is used to turbo charge your results. Remember the idea is to get your main, or original article as high up in the search engines as possible and videos are great for building links and link juice back to your original article or blog post. I recommend using a Video Submission Software like Content Buzz (much cheaper then Traffic Geyser) to increase your effectiveness here.

Well that ‘s it. Now it’s just time to Rinse and repeat.. MASSIVE ACTION = MASSIVE RESULTS… Once you go through the process a few times it gets easier and you will get quicker. If you have the time you should  strive for at least 1 article per day. Do this for 60 days straight and you will have an unbelievable flow of leads and if you funnel your leads properly through an MLM Sales Funnel then you will be making affiliate commissions on a daily basis too.
