I am tired of all the hype that surrounds the straight line compensation plan…
I don’t believe it is a good plan at least not all on its own.. It really depends on the rest of the bonus structure.
Straight line is really just a re-branding of corporate bonus pools. Don’t be fooled into thinking it is so great and that you will actually benefit form all those that join after you. It is simply a ploy to invoke a fear of loss.
